Welfare Officer - David Burrows

The committee would like to welcome our new Welfare Officer - David Burrows.  David will be taking over from Steve Sutcliffe who we would like to thank for his services over the past 6 years.David is the first point of contact should any parents or carers have any concerns regarding the welfare of their child during the training sessions.He will be responsible  for all our DBS (Disclosure & Disbarring) and Safeguarding processes to ensure all our helpers, teachers and coaches are fully checked and validiated to work with our young swimmers.The training programme will also be under his remit to enable all our helpers and teachers to obtain the Level 1 & 2 qualifications in Teaching Aquatics to allow the club to continue to provide swimming lessons and coaching sessions for  Skill Development and  Squads.Should you have any concerns regarding welfare please email David on  David.Burrowsgsc@gmail.comTHIS EMAIL ADDRESS IS NOT FOR GENERAL, MEMBERSHIP OR TRAINING SESSION  ENQUIRIES.
