Very belated - Congradulations & Well Done
Due to the website being under reconstruction this post has been delayed for quite a few months.So here goes the belated congradulations
Two of our swimmers Sam and Millie took part in the Special Olympics North West Regional swimming competition at Wavertree on Saturday 14th May. They competed for Cheshire Penguins against teams from around the county, from the Isle of Man to Jersey.
Sam won silver in 25m Freestyle and 25m Backstroke, and came 5th in 50m freestyle (against some much bigger swimmers!).
Millie won silver in 50m Freestyle, 6th in 25m Backstroke and got a speeding ticket for 25m Freestyle because she swam too fast!!!!
Both swimmers had a great day, and are suitably proud of their wins!
