Llandudno Day 3

Day 3 was quite an eventful day !!
Starting off with the usual 7:30 start for the swim. Swimmers are starting to feel tired now so finding it very mentally challenging.
After the swim we encouraged the swimmers to have a well needed rest.
We then headed to the prom for the run. This year appeared to be the hardest yet the wind was blowing gale force, running down the prom the wind was behind them but once they turned around they had the wind in their faces. After a brutal run all swimmers completed it with Ben Shiels winning the boys race and Rebecca Collier winning the girls. Evie and Orla Kitchen both were a surprise taking 2nd and 3rd place for the girls and Ollie Horscroft taking 2nd for the boys.
Straight after the race we had Rebecca telling Rachael she was about to birth a child which quickly followed with, I need to be sick, Rebecca was sick stating theirs my sausage from this morning 😂 followed by oops there the full English as she was sick again, all due to pushing herself to the limit.
Once all settled we headed into the sprints. Having Ben, Rebecca, Alex & starting first. Rachael turned round to see Ben now projectile vomiting on the finish line which was being blown by the wind everywhere, again this was due to pushing himself to the limit. When Rachael thought no more would happen Phil then decides to do the sprint and ends up tearing his hamstring so now he's unable to walk anywhere fast!
After all the events we headed back to the pool for the tradition 4 x 200m timed swims.
Back to hostel for a quick change and over to the wetherspoons for dinner, followed by a quick stop at Sainsburys for the sweet top up.
The day ended with the usual team games with lots of laughs. Cali has to have her comment quoted of 'everyone in this team makes fun of me but I'm actually boss!' This is just one of the many comments that have kept us entertained throughout this week.
