Return to Training - A Squad, Junior A Squad & Skill Development

The swimming pools run by Liverpool City Council are not going to open until sometime in August and even then, it is not clear that swimming clubs will be returning in the first phase so at this moment in time we cannot give a date when we can return to Garston and Picton pools.

However, the good news is that Knowsley Council are opening their swimming pools from Saturday 25th July with Clubs being welcomed back from Monday 27th July and along with our usual Thursday night session, at Halewood Pool, we have been able to hire the pool on a Monday, 6pm till 8pm, until the end of August.

Therefore, A Squad, Junior A Squad and Skill Development Squad will be able to attend the following sessions:

A Squad - 6pm till 8pm

Monday 27th July, Thursday 30th July, Thursday 6th August, Thursday 13th August, Thursday 20th August and Thursday 27th August.

Junior A Squad - 7pm till 8pm

Monday 3rd August, Monday 10th August, Monday 17th August and Monday 24th August.

Skill Development - 6pm till 7pm

Monday 3rd August, Monday 10th August, Monday 17th August and Monday 24th August.

Swimmers in the above squads will receive an email over the next few days explaining what procedures have been put into place at Halewood Pool and how you will pay for the sessions. Swimmers will also receive a Health Check form and Return to Training form that must be brought to the first session the swimmer attends.

Unfortunately, Swim England guidelines advise that Learn to Swim programmes should not return to the pool at present so please keep checking on the website for further updates.
