Lancashire Age Group Championships - Weekend 2

Although there were no medals this weekend there were still some impressive swims:

Alex Keegan reached the final of the 100m Butterfly in the 16 year old age group and even though he improved his time in the final it just wasn't enough to win a bronze medal as he finished 4th, 0.16 of second away from a medal.

In the 13 years age group Layla Prince achieved an 8 second long course pb in the 200m Breaststroke finishing in 21st place overall.

In the 14 year old age group Holly Barden missed out on a medal in the 800m Freestyle finishing in 4th place but she did achieve a massive 21 second long course pb.

In the 15 year old age group Sydney King achieved a 6 second long course pb in her 200m Backstroke finishing in 10th place, Rebecca Collier achieved a 5 second long course pb in the 100m Butterfly finishing in 19th place and Ruby Owens achieved a 4 second long course pb in the 200m Breaststroke finishing in 15th place.

Onto the 16 year old age group Lily Anna Ireland again had to settle for a 4th place finish this time in the 200m Breaststroke but she did achieve a long course pb in the 100m Butterfly  finishing in 9th place.

Finally onto the 17 year and older age group, Libby Manning achieved a 2 second long course pb in the 200m Backstroke finishing in 9th place, Criostai Hayden Callen again had a good weekend with two pbs in the 200m Backstroke in which he finished in 10th place and in the 100m Butterfly finishing in 16th and Jason Rawlins Williams improved his long course pb in the 100m Butterfly finishing in 23rd place.
