Assessment Day - Saturday November 6th 2021

Can your child swim 25m frontcrawl, backstroke and breaststroke if so please come along to our assessment day that we will be holding on:

Saturday 6th November 2021, at Garston Lifestyles Pool, Long lane, Garston, L196PE

15:00 -15:30 - girls 10 and under

15:30 - 16:00 - girls 11 and over

16:00 - 16:30 - boys 10 and under

16:30 - 17:00 - boys 11 and over

Can you ensure you arrive with the swimmer already in their costume no more than 10 minutes before the session is due to commence. You will need to walk through the main reception and towards the pool changing rooms where you will see one of our helpers wearing a blue Garston Swimming Club t-shirt. They will take the swimmers name and will direct you and the swimmer to the appropriate location.

As this is an assessment session we ask that the parent or guardian stay in the observation area as we anticipate the assessment will take no more than 30 minutes.

You will need to bring the following:

x 2 towels one of which must be taken to poolside by the swimmer.

A bottle of water

Goggles.

At the end of the assessment a swim coach will advise you of the outcome. Our waiting list currently varies depending on the ability group your child is allocated to.

Please note: once we have had the assessment day we will communicate back the session and group your child will be placed in.
